I have had APC clear corners on my truck for over a year now. I will no longer refer to them as "clear" anymore. I will now call them "lightly smoked" corners. Anyone have any problems of discoloration with yours? I'm sure APC will say you can't use carwash soap on them or something like that. But I'm not buying that line of BS when the headlight plastic is just perfect.

APC Sucks, 1 more time APC Sucks. And they suck it hard man! Check it out, August of last year I bought clear corners and carbon fiber tails. Since then I have been through 3-sets of corners before finally giving up and trashing them in favor of some bitchin models from a company called nuetron. The problem is condensation! Let's everyone say our word for the day, con-den-sation. The tails are a whole nother story, I warrantied one set -two sets and on the third the guy who sold me them told me to call the company about it. So I did.( these are a little pricey to just go run out and buy more) that was in April!!!!!!!After numerous calls to them and them sending me a set of the wrong lights I sit here waiting for my $200 tailights while my truck has those goofy looking stockers on it.APC Sucks. Oh but fast 4.8 those clear corners I mentioned are running like a champ, haven't had them long enough to know about discoloring but after 3-4 months no condensation.

Tell us how you really fell about APC
Give me more info on the corners you have now. Where to get them, how much?

I am ready to get rid of my APC white face gauges and sell the entire cluster as a whole.......and get myself the Escalade gauges.....
What you think, 200 dollars for the cluster with the white face already installed?

I can agree with APC not being to great. My front corner "clears" are begining to change, they have been on almost two years. May have to do with mine being garaged, I was able until just recent to park in a garage at work, so mine was almost never sitting in the sun. One of the fronts can be pulled out easy, its tab does not clip in fully. The backs are crystal clear still but have eight months less time. I did have to "custom" trim one of the holes so the bulb socket would fit. Also, word of warning, do not use APC 3157 LED's on our trucks, they blow fuses. I use Jamsrtrait 3157 LED's.

I had a run in with the people from APC myself.
I got a roll pan from them, bought it at a local parts store. (Competition Sales, Pasadena, TX)
Anyway, I didnt pay attention to the roll pan, and I took it and had it painted. I then took it to a guy I know that has an auto-body shop and he calls me and says, "hey, this is the wrong roll pan" I went up there and found out it was for an S10!! So I spent over 3 weeks calling, faxing, sending letters, talking to managers, and even the owner once. After 3 weeks, they finally refunded the money I spent to pay for the paint.
(BTW, I got the auto body shop to get a roll pan for about $70.00!!)
how about those people that sport the big "APC"
windshield banners? UM....NO!!
Final Synopsis:
APC SUCKS!!

What do Neutron clear corners look like?
I bought some clear corners on Ebay and they're identical to stock parts in every way except for no writing on the front.
I had condensation in one of my factory corners which I was able to fix by using Vasoline on the rubber seals of the bulb sockets.

The Nuetron lights have no frost on them anywhere, the are like a crystal headlight or those projector style ones. I just got them when I went to warranty the other ones its all the guy had. Oh one ather thing watch out for that carbon fiber on the tails, mine literally melted around my bulb to the point I took a hammer to the light to get it of the bulb housing!

that same crap happened to me about the melting.
it happened to me like 3 times, including a shortage that i had to get a mechanic to fix.
i had to buy the stupid bulb housing from the dealership that was like $30 or $40. then pay for the mechanic to trace the wires and see where the short was. all my carpet was tore up cause they had to get to the wires. Mine weren't the carbon fiber, just the regular euro tails.
do you know why they melt like that? i was planning on getting some carbon fiber ones, (NOT FROM APC) did i risk melting again?
