How do you like yours?

1500 or 2500?

Favorite options?

Mileage?

Any other info?

2002 or 2003?(I don't mind the cladding)

Get the loaded out 2003, 2500 with a 6.0 litre and add HPP3, air induction, UD pulley and 100 - 150 shot of TNT wet nitrous.. YOu will be real happy then..

Don`t sweat the mileage,, its a truck!

We have a 2002 2500 Avalanche with the 8.1L Big Block i hated it at first but it only too one trip to Crystal Beach to figure out it rocks. We put bigger BFG All Terrians on it. At the beach that thing rules chick magnet Plus its got two built in coolers whats cooler than that.

But seriously it ries awsome and we have moved quite a bit of stuff with it and it can haul a ton. PLus its faster than my Impala SS was stock!

Which is the best rear gear?

The 3.73 or 4.10 for the 8.1L?

I figure the 4.10 for 5.3L is a no brainer on a beast this big!

Kid on the way. May have to trade the camaro (it's still stock! heheh!)

I have the 2500 and love it, the 1500 is also a good bet, and gets better gas mileage [5.3], if you want to find out more answers than you ever thought existed [and opinions] check out http://www.cafcna.com - its a great truck, getting even better for 2003, though there are great deals on remaining '02 models.

BTW, the 2500 is the BigBlock 8.1L, and it does rock, specially with a Whipple supercharger.
