I have been looking at these for a while now and really like them. Do any of our sponsors sell them? If they do, I would definately be in for a group purchase if anyone else were interested. I'll post in the group purchase post also.

Hi Ryan,
Thought I would post here rather than relaying info. We do have access to most of the Street Scenes sport mirrors. Only problem is that there are several different styles for the different trucks. That would make a group type purchase difficult since everyone probably wouldn't want/need the same one. Hopefully we could offer you pretty good individual pricing. If anyone interested wants to post the year/make/model of the truck and what type of mirrors you want... i.e. manual, electric, with turn signals, heated, etc. then we can double check the part numbers and get some pricing. They also have a manual to electric conversion kit available.
Thanks,
Deanne

Thanks for the reply Afterthoughts Auto. Yeah the mirrors do come with many options and I thought this might make it difficult for a GP. But maybe one of the truck forum guys could keep a list of what people want.
I'll start: 1999 Chevy Silverado electric sport mirrors. (mine are already electric, so no conversion kit is needed for them)

Lets let this post hang around about a week or so. Afterthoughts will get prices for us based on the amount of interest. I would expect somewhere in the $140 to $170 range (for electric), but I could be way off. They will be more for more options, ie; signals, heated, etc....

Thanks a lot... I really like those mirrors and will get them if the price is right. I would just get the electric ones, no heated or signaled stuff.
What is a good place/price to get them painted to our trucks color?
thanx,

BTW local guys, they will paint 2 door handles, tailgate handle, and bumper cover for about $175. Let me know and I can get you contact info.

Awesome... I got my truck there (04-28-2001). My dad is workin on some insurance stuff w/ the Ron Carter guys right now. We got a good discount on the truck, so maybe the owner can cut me a deal on paint.
There is only 1 prob... Ron Carter is wellll over an hour away from me ... closest one to me is Beck and Masten and Parkway Chevy.
I also wanna get my air dam painted, or just rip it off and get a new one! Any suggestions on that would be cool.
thanx,
-Kurt

Hey 01 Silverado, Just my opinion, but for front air dams, I like the C3 (Denali) front bumper cover. It looks really smooth on the Sierras and I know it will fit the Chevys. As far as pictures of this bumper cover on a Chevy I havn't been able to find one. (oh yeah, the cover is like $400 though). If anyone is out surfing the net and finds a picture of what I'm talking about post a link. I think I want to get it for my truck.
Even though this post kind of changed topics, keep the mirror ideas going Lates

Okay...I've finally figured out some pricing. I couldn't find much of a reference point to compare these to but they are discounted off retail.
Silverado & GMC Sierra (99-01)(probably 02 as well...need to confirm)(without OEM heated glass) SS Part #: 950-11920
- electric Cal-Vu Sport Mirrors - $150.00 (sugg. retail looks like $187.99)
CashDude...yes they do have an electric sport mirror with heated glass conversion kit. For most truck models it looks like that is a special order with our warehouse. We can get them though and they would run around $200.00. Let me know your year/model and I'll get it exact.
The electric ones I referenced above are in stock and would ship right away. Only problem....we don't have an order page on the site yet. We can get that done over the weekend pretty quick though if the prices sound good and anyone wants to order. I'm also not sure what shipping would run yet but I can't imagine more than $10.
If I missed a request let me know.
Thanks,
Deanne

i am pretty sure that the C3 bumper cover will not fit on a GMC with stock the grille. it will hit the lower part of the grille. i saw i pic of a chevy with the C3 cover over at ls1.com before. it looked really nice.
