are you talking about the 01-02 HD hood or the 05 HD hood?
if it's the 05, it came factory on all 06-07 trucks.

the 01-02 is straight across the front


the 05 has swept corners to fit over the angled headlights


assuming you're wanting an 01-02 hood, i reckon you could cut it to fit like a lot of sierra guys do

 

all 06-07C hoods are the same, the "HD" style.

Im actually buying a ram air hood for an 06 chevy HD silvy... so i just kinda broke the question down i guess lol

 

so long as you're using all the silverado front end parts, it'll work

 

yes i am... got the frame horn bumper mounts in today... welding them on this week.. then hood should be in.. i will post pics
