Finally Got the Silvy on the road.
#1
I finally got the silvy on the road and am presumably going to be driving it everyday. There are still things to do but nothing pressing. I am going to be investing in some audio gear (just ordered a Clarion DVD lcd), possibly new seats (viper I hope), and new wheels (leaning toward 20"). I just wanted to thank everyone on here who assisted with advice and knowledge along the way so far.
As far as the driving report:
The transmission shifts great. It has an undertone of race feel but still very comfortable for the street. The fuddle is just fine for street duty but any looser and it would be annoying. The suspension is somewhat stiff but it handles real good and is tolerable on the street. May change the front shocks again to see if that helps a bit.
The engine is definitely the most fun aspect of the truck. It has plenty of power and then some to do what ever is wanted at any time. Naturally aspirated, I am very impressed. The exhaust sounds absolutely race oriented with the cam, stall, x-pipe, and dumped magnaflows.
Aside from some small glitches here and there and some annoying cosmetic defects to be dealt with later, I love it. Its nice to have a truck that has a strong lq4 and also happens to be one of the earliest documented 6.0 swaps. First 10 or so from what I hear. I laughed when I thought that I have two first years and both have 6.0 swaps but are completely different.

Thanks White. I worked my *** off on that dodge for years and have had people cause damage to it so much that I decided to take it off the road except for special occasions or really nice days where I dont have to go to certain areas. People suck but now I have a truck that I can take anywhere and do it in some style. I also carry a 1911 and a nice aluminum bat for people that suck. HA

Ah, I thought that truck belonged to "slowprocess" at one time. Nice truck for sure. You mentioned earlier you want to get some 20" wheels for it. I think you should keep your current wheels. If I remember correctly, those are the Timeless 6 Boyd Coddington wheels. It's really hard to find those today.
