Default Has anyone everinstalled a non-oem Silverado SS grille on their truck? Thoughts?

Since apparently it's impossible to find a stock Silverado SS black grille; I was hunting through the lmctruck dot com online catalog tonight and found out that they sell a NON-oem replacement on page 64 of their 99-07 Silverado catalog. Has anyone ever installed one of these? If so, how was the quality? Fit? Are the "triangles" in the grill openings the same as a OEM SS Grille? Any opinions welcome.

I've seen some of their stuff for the 67-72 chevy trucks. Some of it is pretty iffy. I'm just wondering if the supplier for GM who made these grills is now making them for the aftermarket. What's the likelyhood of that?

Yep my HD grille doesn't let the bowtie sit flush either. I don't know why they wouldn't make it exactly like the OEM...
