power mirrors help

Default power mirrors help

hey guys im thinking about painting my own mirrors but i have power mirrors and i cant figure out how to get them apart...ive got the front cover off but i cant figure out how to take the mirror off from the the little motor that moves the mirror...can somebody help me figure out how to take the complete mirror assembly apart? and how an i tell if i have heated mirrors? i didnt think i had em but i noticed some other wires running to my mirror....

I used 3 screwdrivers. Move the mirror to the side which gives you the most room to reach behind it. Once you get about 3 of the clips loose at the same time (which can be tricky), they will stay off and you can begin to work your way around to the others one at a time.
