Default Quadrasteer guys!?

my dad has an 04 sierra denali AWD Qsteer, its got about 120k miles and no more warrenty, and its been making a loud noise. a loud low whine, i only heard it breifly could'nt tell if it was coming from the front or rear of the truck. it only happens when he is turning at full or almost full lock.(and im not talking about the usual noise of the power steering pump at full lock). is the rear steering run by a hydrolic pump? has anyone replaced one, or had any problems with your quadrasteer truck?

i'm not sure as to how that rear steering works so any info would be appretiated.

thanks.

Turn the rear steer off and see if it still does it.

no its not the usual power steering noise at full lock, we have three gm trucks i know that sound.

for about a year or so it occastionaly locks him out of four wheel steer till he re starts the truck, but the dealer could never figure out why.

so dose anyone know if there is a hydrolic pump back there? if there is i'm pretty sure it's going out or something.
