Default 4l80?

so i have no clue abou this. can i thke a 4l80 and bolt it right up where my 4l60 was?

with a few other mods, basically yes. Look it up, there's tons of threads about it.

for 4wd it costs a lot. It's not straightforward like the 2wd

thats what ive heard is that it would cost so much for my truck i would be better of just building my 4l60 to the max

I think KySilverado spent about $4000 for the swap on his 4x4

you would probably spend more than a flt 4l60 but i wouldn't think that it would be too much more. The peace of mind for me is what is so great about the 80.
