Default Wreck yards around OKC

Interested in a 5.7 or 6.0, but the only place that i know of has prices higher than Everest. Where are some places around the OKC area that might be a possible yard that has reasonable prices??

I only know of G&R off of shields..... I felt like the guys behind the counter. Pull-a-part doesn't carry '95+ vehicles. Everywhere else has nothing!

Did he take the time to file off serial #?
Sounds like you got a deal.

Prolly the reason u guys down south can't get a decent price is simple economics. Supply & demand. Up north, our bodies are rusted to ****. Our motors are fine. Up here, they rust out early on in the vehicles life, that unless it was pounded on, the motor outlasts the body.

Down south, u guys have cars & trucks w/. great bodies, but the motors are worn out. That's cause if the body looks good & hasn't rusted out, there's no reason to get rid of it. Unless the motor is toast.

I bought a 6.0 off a guy for $400 a few years ago. I may or may not have turned around and sold it. He had it in a barn and wasn't doing anything with it. He was happy to see it go.
