Man these engines are not very reliable are they? My uncle has one, my cousin has one, and my dads work truck has one..and between the 3 at least one of them is not running properly at any one time.
I need to help my dad replace the crank sensor and the cam sensor on his work truck. I already replaced the crank sensor but cant seem to locate the cam sensor. I looked for diagrams online but can not seem to find one. Everything I have found says "where it should be" but does not give a picture of the exact location. Does anyone know where I could possibly get one? Maybe even a write up with pics?
TIA

I beg to differ about the motors, I rebuilt mine and have taken multiple 1hr+ road trips in the short time of it running while still beating on it and havent had a problem. All of my sensors and accessories are stock as well :chug:

How about some respect to a fellow truck member and nicely mention
"hey, hes talking about the powerstroke" idk wtf is going on in this forum lately but it seems like half these members that hardly post think they are fucking god. If i took that wrong then i apologize , but the way it seems..it seems like yer being a cocky asshole.

just curious but why are you changing ckp and cmp sensors? i have never seen a bad sensor since the 6.0's came out. 100% of the time it has been a wiring concern and they are shielded and twisted so repair is tough. codes p2614 and p2617 can be set from a stall also but in my experience you need a wiring harness
