Wow, sorry to hear. Your friends family will be in my prayers.

Similiar truck crashed up the road from me into a tree. No one survived. They were estimated doing 100 mph and airborne when they hit the tree.

WOW. Really sorry to hear about that.

To go a long with adding new seatbelt's. Always check your throttle cable after an install to see if it sticks at WOT before you drive it. My Blazer stuck WOT a couple times on me when I first put the SB in it. 1 tiny washer is all it takes to fix.
Luckily I was quick enough to shut the key off before it tried to get crazy.

This was probrably 10 years ago. I lived on a dead end road and it shut us in for about 6 hours. Life flight landed in the field next to us to fly them out, but they died before they got to the hospital.

If your that close we might need to meet up sometime. Hopefully under better cricumstances though.

That would be cool. I come trough your way sometime going to Nashville. I go down through there going to Good Guys in my old car. I am home most of the time "retired" working on my toys or others toys. Got a 53 Belair here now putting air ride on.
