Hey i have a 00 silverado with a stock 5.3, my truck has 3.73 gears and a built up 4l60 tranny. I am looking to build up my torq and i need some pointers. I am thinking of a cam but im not sure what kind or what lift. does anyone have any ideas. O ya i am a 18 year old working part time for now so the cash flow is pretty after that tranny rebuild so im trying to get more bang for my buck.

 

Im happy with long tubes, full exhaust intake and gt2-3 cam and tune. should run u 2k if you linger in the classifieds you can get most of the stuff cheaper. also look for efans.

 

I agree with the above, I was really happy with intake, exhaust, cam, LTs, tune. My Tahoe ran REALLY well with that setup.
