everybody throws in like 10 or 20 bucks... (depending on how much the pay out is...) u create a route with 7 stops (generally bars etc) at each stop u draw a card, it gets documented on ur paper, u hang out and shoot the breeze a lil bit... move on to the next designation, and so on. at the last bar/ etc. you go thru everyones cards and best hand wins...
along with it u get the bars to contribute to prizes along with any sponsers etc....
generally you have a show at the last designation..... we use to do them for charity runs in myrtle beach.... and you would be suprised all the people that will jump in the convoy and tag along.... builds great interest for new comers....
and pretty much it is just a great time.... it's a long event.... but real fun.....

it is generally easier to get sponsers when u give 1/2 the entry fees to a charitable cause....
which is how i would like to do it.... preferablly for kid cancer families...

i know a guy that does charity events all of the time, if you contact him a ton of cars would most likely show up and he could assist with donating the money since he is already known for that stuff

here is the charity racing website, the guys name is topline tim, or if you want his number PM me.
