Alright guys I said it was comming and here it is!
Its a yank tt3000 that i had a buddy machine the sprags and freshen up the bearings and new clutch! He painted it blue (wtf was he thinkin) idk!

And one for the road home



Then with all the new torque and power come more issues like traction

also, what kind of tires are they and what size? They look sick

Yea tune is janked up right now we are gonna mess with it tomm afternoon! we just put it in and went with it cause it was about 2a.m. when we finished! the tires are 28x11.50 r16

Love your truck. How hard would you say the install is dropping the tranny and all that? I've never done anything like that before, I was wondering if I'd be able to put a 4l80e and converter in by myself. Did you use loctite on the converter bolts? Did you torque anything to a specific spec or just tighten things up by hand?

Im also surprised your rpms dropped so much with the tt3000??? I thought yank says it only drops 1700 at the shift.

hater, haha its ok I hid the extra bolts we had left over.

Just got back from adjusting the tune. its a lot better now.


We put ARP converter bolts in it. and we always just tighten them down pretty good..

80E swap by yourself would be rough unless you have a Cadillac of a transmission jack!

OK for 00Chevyscott you made me go out and tune this pig tonight haha! I was bored so i figured hey what the heck ill drive 100 miles and get this baby going! So nonnie and I got together ,despite work tomm, and tuned it. Here is a video after some adjustments still not finish but a work in progress!

Oh and the tires are m/t et street II's 295/50/16 which is a 28x11.5

well it looks 10xx better then the first video. but for a 6.0 i think theres more in her. and it did seem like the rpms dropped alot...

huge difference there from that last video! How high are you spinning that 6.0?

Dang, your truck is really clean... I was going to get those same wheels for my F150 before I dumped a ton of cash on the Camaro.
