Default Engine covers from 06' SS

I'm debating to sell my engine covers off my 06' SS, but I need your opinions first. I usually don't sell things from truck, just in case I want to put it back to stock. I took them off my truck the 1st month that I had the truck so it would look cool. They are in perfect condition, and I mean not a scatch on them. The pads and bolts are perfect condition too. How much do they keep the engine running cooler? Should I not sell, and re-install them to keep the engine running cooler? I called the dealer yesterday and they gave me a quote of $475.00 smacks for the 3 piece set, plus they are a special order item. Damn! I didn't know they cost that much. What would you guys do?
Terry

they're worth anywhere between $75-$125 in the condition yours are in. I don't think you'll get much more than that out of them though.

So I guess the dealer is a rip for $475 huh? I thought that was an outragest price.

Yep, why not good?
I guess that's why they call it the stealership. $475 bucks is way....to much! I think I'm going to keep them anyway. If I ever put the truck back to stock, then at least I'll have them. Here's how it looks without them. The intake cover you see on there, is one that I had laying around and painted.
