Thats not a bad price, when I went to SQR it was $50 for an hour, as many pulls as I could do in an hour and I could make tune adjustments inbetween...

Update: I just spoke with Clint at Dynosaur performance and a small change in plans have to be made. After this weekend he be be in Houston till the 25th which means we have to bring the dyno date back to this weekend (Saturday the 10th). Sorry for the change of plans.
Ok so if more than 10 cars show itll be 35 bucks for 2 pulls and add 10 if you want afr's.

From a previous post looks like 10AM. I am pretty sure I will be going, cause I have to be over in that area saturday anyways. I plan on being up there are 10ish....

From my understanding, if your tuning (spark, AFR, etc) on a dyno the difference is null, because HP/TQ will still change... If your wanting bragging rights (higher numbers) than 3rd gear with TC locked....

It only takes me about 40 minutes to get up there, and you say I drive like a grandpa.

I'm looking at my tune, but I don't think I'm looking in the right spot.

All I can find is Partial Throttle 3>4 under the Shift at VSS tab. It is saying 106 mph at 100% tps and the Shift at RPM says at 6000

I dont think Ross has hp tuners or efi live. I know Clint tunes but only on hondata for Hondas...

I had fun. I was a lil under the weather today but still made it out and brought a few other cars w/me to dyno(G35,and G8). Glad to hang out with some fellow GM truck guys. Some nice trucks and some nice dyno numbers made it worth standing in the cold..haha I'm happy that I broke 400hp, time for heads and 90mm intake.

I was the one wearing the black famous hat with the crazy red hair driving the white tahoe. The 2003 (i think) f150 was a joke. Made 162whp out of the mighty 4.6. Truck had k&n intake, throttle body spacer lmao, edge performance programmer set on level 3 and dumped exhaust. It did have 33's on it as well.

Back in the early 90's my ex wife beat a 6.22 car with her 6.59 Jeep in a heads up race on a Friday test and tune. Some people lost a lot of money on that race...that street Mustang was famous. The other lane got nervous 'cause she was a bracket racer every weekend I guess. The guy slept while she cut about 2 or 3 hundreths off of a perfect light; fairly common for her. Damn I miss that Jeep! :chug:

How is the track prep up there, a bunch of us usually go to K-dale cause it is close to all of us, but I am up for something new, i would love to go to ennis...

Denton's prep isn't as good as Kennedale's on a good day... and its an hour drive, pain in the ass to get to etc etc... just my opinion, been there many times with True 10.5 and other classes I've been a part of and never liked it as much...

Our crew went to Ennis 3 times last year and the track prep was shit! AWD trucks couldnt hook out there

Ennis hooks the baddest cars in the world... your trucks shouldn't have any issues... The less the vehicle shocks the tires, the less effective the track prep that they do is on the tire... For what most of you guys are doing the track prep isn't "that" important... its important, just not as much so as it is to a super stocker or a fuel car or something of that nature.

The reason i was asking about track prep at Denton was, becuase if i run up there I will be on my street tires, not my slicks... Launching on my street tires is kinda dependent on there being a little bit of track prep, otherwise I just flame the tires...

i wish ennis would have another test & tune...

I checked the schedule and they have NOTHING posted, if i get a chance i will call up there...

Lets go to Denton!You can make 15 plus runs a night....great track too.WAY better crowd as well.....unless you like alot of spectators...LOL
+1 denton is a way better track, I went 1 tenth faster at denton than k-dale. ennis is the best IMO...let me know the next denton date, and I will go. friday nights used to be fun.

well ok then lets go to redline!! thats a nice track too. at any track there are problems. k-dale is the people watchin, ennis is never open, all the damn imports drag water up to the sageing lanes, ect, ect...

Honestly I am not driving a 1hr+ to do a 1/8th mile track... I will stick with K-dale, cause when the tranny breaks I want to be close to home :).... Personally i like Kennedale....

It used to be better when there weren't so many bikes, and umm "other" people there. The drag racing crowd sure isn't like what it used to be. I just can't get past the fact that they actually play rap out there.... :barf::barf::barf:

Denton is a nice track, but their track prep SUCKS. I will stick to k-dale.

I like Kennedale, 15 minutes away, I dont spin there, crappy people sometimes but thats everywhere. Plus good truck groups there.
