I ended up getting a speeding ticket a few months back, and I'm really wanting to get it thrown out. I was wondering if it is possible to reset the govoner in an 03 Ford Explore? I'm not wanting to delete the govoner, I'm wanting to get it reset, at say 60-65 mph. Is it possible or am i just dreaming?

i don't see why you couldn't? the programmers have the ability to adjust the governer to higher levels...so why not a lower level?

Like you were told in the other thread. YES, it can be done, your going to need to find custom tuning software to do it. But as already stated. We aren't going to help you Cheat the law and there isn't a vehicle on the road with a speed limiter set that low because it would be against DOT regulations.
Grow up. pay your ticket and move on.

The only vehicles that will be even close to that is commercial trucks that were ordered from the factory with a 70mph limiter. But they should be able to tell that from your VIN I would think.
