Well the LS1 and all the go fast parts are going bye byes (if they arent already) and I am getting rid of the Sierra. I am getting a 4wd ecsb frame, driveline, chassis and I am taking my 2wd body and putting it on it lol. Stupid, yes I know... reason for not just selling the Silverado is because its paid off, most ive gotten offer wise wasnt enough for me to sell then just go buy a 4wd. Plus what fun would it be w/o making it a project and going from the ground up :D

Driveline btw is a 01' 5.3 with about 70k miles on it. I am gonna strip the coating off on the frame and recoat it, maybe a custom 1" body lift, energy bushings... all that good crap. I will also have to swap to the manual transfer case as I am not running all that wiring for push button

As far as mods, I am keeping my efans, LTs and ORX, CAI, and my truetrac. Nuffin crazy

I painted that, actually turned out great too. Its a ebay handle though so its already garbage... send me yours and ill paint it for ya for the cost of paint... already know what color to buy :secret2:

Ya... I sanded it down. No I didnt throw it out, its still no there, but its all locked up and the handles pretty much broke (hence it costing $20 shipped lol). Paint should only be about $15 or so... I already have the sand paper for it

why not take your 2wd frame and put a solid axle under it. you could do a leaf spring set up for pretty cheap.

I bought my 4wd roller all at once, came with a 5.3/4L60E. Right now I am only looking for 4wd, we are gonna be starting our house on my parents property within the next 6 months and I get stuck everytime I go there :lol:

A Dana 44/60 most likely will be going in at sometime... for now I am just getting the 4wd part established. why would you have to run a divorced case? if you went with a ford axle it will put the pumpkin on the drivers side. only thing custom would be steering and drive shaft.

Divorced if I was gonna stick with the 2wd trans.

What transfer case (manual) do the 3/4 tons run as opposed to the 1/2 tons? 1/2 ton manual tcase is the NP241 correct?

:lol: No... I am swapping to a 4wd transmission as well. I was refering to running divorced had I not planned to swap the frames and do a SFA.. and use my 2wd trans. Instead I am just buying a FULL 4wd roller (trans included) and swapping my body onto it. Then MAYBE next winter ill do SFA conversion... I just dont have the money for it right now, a fully built D60 is gonna be some major coin.

now i uderstand what your doing. I just didn't get the divorced case thing then thought you were going to run it 2wd. orginally i thought you were going to run a stock tranny and tcase. any way. hurry up its snowing up there.
