View Full Version : rc srt-10 regency 12-13-2008, 10:16 PM what do most run with exhaust, intake, and computer, ohh and maybe headers also?? 95 bright teal 12-13-2008, 10:18 PM They run mid 13's stock, they have pretty decent exhaust to begin with. headers are around $1000. and im not sure how much an intake would help them. probably decently. I would say mid to high 12's? they are freakin heavy regency 12-13-2008, 10:23 PM theres a guy in town, he works with my mom at the jail. just bought one, i think he said he has intake, catback, and getting a computer. he thinks he can take me..lol he also said he dont shift out of first until 90 and shifts out of 2nd at 120...lmao 95 bright teal 12-13-2008, 10:28 PM With the manual? My friend has one, its quick, but no 12sec truck. With a very good driver they will do like 13.5 stock, the problem is the 1-2 shift is hard to hit, and then they also dont have traction under full throttle till over 70mph regency 12-13-2008, 10:45 PM yea a 6 speed! i told him it might get out of the 13's if he is very lucky xx_ED_xx 12-14-2008, 09:11 AM Well Depending how much cash he has to spend. He can put a supercharger on it that looks something like this. http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/6/24/85643/srt100.JPG Out of all the sets of headers I have put on these I think the easiest with decent gains are the bellangers. But if he goes with a supercharger he will need to cut the pickle out of the header or it will hinder performance. Also if he goes with that particular supercharger the ecu add on system that comes with it makes fine tuning the motor for boost a breeze. And expect almost 600 horse at the wheels with that supercharger and some bellangers. Hit me up if he is serious I can tell you where to get it 67camaro327 12-16-2008, 10:03 AM Some have hit 12s stock but there hard to drive. With those mods it should be able to run mid 12s. Hed have to be a pretty good driver though. regency 12-16-2008, 07:24 PM well he just got it and he has always drivin autos so i dont think he can drive it that good Tooloe 12-30-2008, 09:46 AM yea a 6 speed! i told him it might get out of the 13's if he is very lucky well..for starters i'm from texas working in shreveport i can show you a sub 12sec SRT-10 if you'd like N/A and also theres a guy in temple texas all bolt ons running a 12.3 with headers and tune and slicks..the Rc Srt-10 is all about the driver on another note for an intake we like JMB for exhaust we mostly run magna flow but some run corsa...and for the tuen it's either a VECII or SCT depending on what your running most guys with a s/c run the VECII and N/A-Nitrous guys run the SCT ZR1 DREAMING 12-30-2008, 11:47 AM well..for starters i'm from texas working in shreveport i can show you a sub 12sec SRT-10 if you'd like N/A and also theres a guy in temple texas all bolt ons running a 12.3 with headers and tune and slicks..the Rc Srt-10 is all about the driver on another note for an intake we like JMB for exhaust we mostly run magna flow but some run corsa...and for the tuen it's either a VECII or SCT depending on what your running most guys with a s/c run the VECII and N/A-Nitrous guys run the SCT So you'd say a bolt-on RC would run mid-low 12s then? That's pretty decent. regency 12-30-2008, 04:59 PM i would expect nothing less with 2 more cylinders!!! dirt track racer 81 12-30-2008, 05:31 PM i ran one with a novi supercharger and was not impressed at all considering i beet him Tooloe 12-30-2008, 06:40 PM guess you got ahold of one that didn't know how to shift/drive it heres a video of a 12.48 at little river in temple,tx he has ran a 12.34 bu8t on a diffrent set of slicks..all bolts ons headers/tune and thats it here (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6bN9_pXsLg) notice he also is smoking the clutch heres a 12.41 lightning kill here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEMD9SLDAWY) heres another video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klfBO0Dpdyw) FASTBLKSRT 12-31-2008, 09:22 AM It all has to do with the driver, and getting traction. The 22s are a not traction friendly. |
