lq4 or lq9? if it's an lq4 you should mill the heads or swap on some 243's for that cam. its not going to do too well running on 9.4:1 compression. you would want at least 10:1, and 10.5:1 or 11:1 would be better.

exactly what I was thinking but excited to see how it goes i was looking at a torquer v3 for mine but want to do the 243's and it at the same time.

Its an lq4. Heads might go in the future.. I was recommended this cam by Texas Speed and did research on people who had it on an lq4

he should at least mill the ones he has, I'm not an expert but you have more bleed off with larger cams. with this cam it would be ideal to be around 11:1 if I'm not mistaken.

Ok how much should we mill the stock heads? I dont know much about heads. What compression should i go for? planning on running a 100-150 shot

I would just shoot for 10.-1 compression if you're just milling the heads. you would need to mill the heads about .050 to take off the 6cc's to get down to the 66cc you would need for that. thats a rough measurement, but rule of thumb is .005 takes off 1cc. if you have a good machine shop just tell them you need a 66cc chamber and they should mill them to get the right size. you could also go with a .040 gasket and you would only need a 68cc chamber.
I have read you don't want to take off more then .050, but that might have only been for intake fitment. also you will want to check ptv clearance with milling them down so much. if its possible to mill them farther a .040 gasket and 64cc chamber will give you 10.5:1, if you use stock gaskets you need a 62cc chamber, I would shy away from trying to mill them that much though.
