i'm starting this thread for a buddie that i was helping before i moved.
it started life as a lil s-10 with a 305 in it.

he was set with that until.....
he wanted a 572 dart

room was needed, so was a new firewall

he had the idea of a "street" truck so he got some tires for when he rolls the street lol

paint lol i dont know. i know that is FAR down his list...one of the last things. (i just hope the stickers go bye bye)

as far as the wheels being too far forward he might have done it to help hook, but you would fix it by moving the 4 ling back, or you could put longer bars on the 4 link, just make sure all the measurements are right.

well, talked to him over the Thanksgiving break....
The truck is at a speed shop down here gettin looked over for safty and street legal (even tho it has tags and a inspection sticker lol)
The guy goin over it has a 8 sec Transam and seems to b pretty knowledgable.
when he gets it back... time to take apart and paint and powdercoat and chrome things....

Well, the owner of the truck finnally got a profile on here, so he'll be chimeing in the next day or two!

also got the truck back, got the rear wheels centered, and gettin ready for the cut-outs to b put on next week.

well the guys at weiand say with the jets i got n there its plenty good, the blower makes up the difference on the air side, changing the pulleys to run blower @ 180%

update: the wheland 177 blower is off. makin boost at 190%. he wants to sell the 177 blower and buy a M3 or M4 procharger, or a 8-71, 14-71, or a 6-71 blower.......or a turbo that could give enough boost at 2,300 rmp for the 572
