Nice build, looks good so far, can't wait to see it done.

12-10-2008, 11:50 AM
Very nice, but that suspension is likely overkill. You can cut 60' times in the 1.5's on a 235/60R15 drag radial with the leaf springs.

I need good traction. I also want full adjustabilty in the rear.

zippy
12-11-2008, 11:40 AM
Full adjustability is nice, but it's one of those things that if it's not needed why cut the truck up for it. Most spend more time adjusting them than they do getting them where they want them. My friends S10 went 10.64 with a 1.51 60' on Bell Tech leaf springs and shocks with Cal Trac's and a 235/60R15 drag radial. Another one to look at is this truckhttp://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/showthread.php?t=427972. That's the quickest S10 on here running a turbo and nitrous with a 6.0L on leaf springs and Cal Trac's. I'm not trying to put down your idea so much as I know when you're building a project every dollar you put into it you want to make sure it is worth spending on.

lol well I really wanted to do an s10. I went to look at a square body it had too much rust. so if I dont get another body or an f-body or a full size I will put it in my extended cab but the the power I want wont be there I will only put down about 400hp. But when I get income tax I will know for sure.

cool, wish I had the money to finish up my LSX. You won't regret the s10 there a blast to drive. As far as hooking goes some adustable rear shocks 90/10 front and cal tracs, will do the trick, I'm still running the stock leafs with the over load leaf out.

RAZORS10
