Default General lowering question.

If I was to buy a RCSB 4x4 would it be possible to lower it? A considerable amount like a 5/7 or 4/6? Or is it not worth the hasle?

spindles, springs, torsions, shackles, hangers, flip kit, c notch. any combination will get you close, can definately get you at least 6 in the rear not sure how far you can come down in the front with 4x4, but 4/6 dosent seem out of reach

IIRC, I think you can get around a 6" drop up front, and the rear is like a 2wd so you could come down as much as 12" from 4x4 height. Look through some of gmracer's threads as he had pics, and probably the most knowledge on lowering a 4x4. I want to say he got close to a 2wd 4/6 height, maybe just a tad higher.

Yea, GMRacer's truck is about the lowest 4x4 that I've ever seen...I'd love to bring mine a little closer to earth when funds allow For now I'll deal with key and shackle drop

Well I dont plan on wheeling it, have other toys for that. Better ride and look while still keeping 4wd ability in snow and what not.

being in the snow, i would go with a 2/4. a 4/6 is a little to low. a 2/4 in reality when you decrank your bars an inch and remove the block will put you a 3/5 from a stock 4x4. i would say drop spindles, and new lowering torsion keys up front. and a shackle/hanger drop in the back.
