Default Ready to go fast and not Blow it up!

I just recently decided i needed to go fast and yes i picked one of the worst vehicles to start with but it is what i got. 03 tahoe 5.3l on 22's. I recently purchased a magnacharger for it and have very little mods to the truck besides a ported 78mm throttle body 160* thermostat single chamber 40 series dual exhuast and flex-a-lite fans. I dont know if i need to start heading in to the motor with push rods or anything or if i need to go to the tranny so something doesnt break and cost me alot $$$$. Any help in what should be next or what direction to point me would be great.

Welcome to PT.net

Yeah, I'd start with the transmission. A FLT level 5 is working for me but at the least you will want to upgrade yuor stocker with a Transgo shift kit, servo and large fluid cooler.
I'd recommend a cam, rods and springs before doing the 90mm we had talked about. A cam like the GT2-3 and a good tune is going to payoff so much more.
