Well I finally got my chance.

My buddy owes me some money so we agreed on a trade. Its a Hunter Green 1994 RCSB 2wd V6 5 speed.(trans is gone).

So I have a 4.8 that I'm buying from Rossp, he bought it from 01SlowZ71. Gettin LS6 springs and a big shot through a plate kit.

I'm sending my Yank TT3000 back in to get it freshened. A built 60E through a Eaton or Trutrac.

Caltracs with MT DRs.

Future plans are puttin my STS base Turbo up front on the 4.8 and getting a MP70 from KBracing96.

Depends on how well she runs, either she is goin to be sold and that money will go in the DD or another project.

Stay tuned for pics and details in 2 weeks.

I think 11s would be a nice goal in a light truck?

I could probably give ya a few tips on shedding weight ;)

I say your STS AND the plate kit.... Those trucks are a ton easier to get weight out of than these... Less BS

Well I wanna use this $600 Yank converter.. haha and I don't plan on keeping it that long. But ya never know. If all else fails ill go with either a TH350 or TH400 or 4L80E..
We shall see.....

Well after goin back and forth with the guy he wont sell it now..

SO now i have pulled my old 1985 Dodge Ram 100 Custom out of the woods...:D
Its free :headbang:

we had to put air in the tires 4 times just to pull it 300yds.
Got it halfway in the shop and pulled the 318/TF727 out in 20 mintues!
2 nuts off the motor mounts and one bolt out of the trans crossmember.
cut some wires and lines, Vola!
Moved it to the side of the shop and cleaned out under the hood.. nothing but a Brake booster and old HVAC blower motor..

There is a ton of room under there so ill have plenty of room for stuff..

Goin to pull the cab and bed off the frame when i get time and get rid of a bunch of junk.. Especaially that huge gas tank. its a lot bigger than mine on the silverado.

I figure after doin some serious stripping of factory stuff and putting some bucket seats in it, the weight should be might low cause the frames on them are pretty thin..

local guy is putting a 5.3 in a S-10 and im goin to call him out with my lil might mouse 4.8.

Plans are:
4.8
TH350 ~2000-2500 stall
weld up the rear or spool in the lil 8.25" diff
its got 3.08 gears i think?
~60mm turbo?
i still have my 44# injectors..
also have a extra nitrous plate.. :D

Fuel cell with maybe that Bosch 044 pump
116 oct Oxygenated :usa:

stock suspension with some long bars
might go with a GM 8.5" rear and 4link in the future

run a 67mm on the 4.8l. That is what I ran and it made decent power

haha sounds good... is it bad when the turbos is the most expensive part of the build?
