For my boat. Had a lil spare time tonight so decided to stick the front cam cover, oil pan on. Taking our time, have till spring to finish them up.. Pans are Canton racing 12qt'rs, running cam drive water pumps... Motors are 565ci darts. Dart Pro1 heads, crane cams. Billet cranks, rods, ross pistons :) Thanks for checkem out, I keep ya all posted http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/mangler0075/139.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/mangler0075/140.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/mangler0075/141.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/mangler0075/143.jpg

Nice, very nice. It's been a while but I used to work at JR.Custom Marine, built Sonics. Man that was a long time ago, not even sure they still exist. We had twin blown Mercs. Going down the intercoastal at 85 is an experience

Yes they do and still are very popular, a nice boat.. I love going fast on the water, it is in the blood, just have to have a lil bit of sense, be able to predict the water a bit. Dad did it for 45+ years, were doing this together. He was running a 18 ft(fraz) drag boat 129 in the1/4 back in 79 :eek2:

Cool, we were the first to put v8 outboards on in the country if that helps date it. I assembled the hulls, bulkheads etc. it was a crappy dirty nasty job but I learned alot.

I raced for a long time, if sailing counts
