Okay so my Dad has a '99 Ford F350 with a 7.3L Powerstroke. It has 290,000 miles on it (all of them nearly highway). We have owned it since it was brand new, right off the dealer parking lot. Anyways, it started to like miss awhile back. My Dad said there is an injector that is out. He replaced both the injector wiring harness and also the valve cover gaskets to both sides already and it's still doing the same thing. It still pulls/drives strong and everything, just has a miss. Anyone ever have a similar problem? Also, does anyone know where I can get a rebuilt injector for cheap? Thanks for the help. -Ryan

injectors are very common on those, they are about $3k from a dealer for the set. that mileage i would replace all 8 while in there

Thanks. My Dad went ahead and took it to the dealership where he purchased the truck. Injector #8 was out. No more miss :D
