Have an 04 silverado 4x4, started making a loud clicking sound from drive train a few days ago----I suspect it is transmission but cant really tell. It occurs sometimes on take off and sometimes after reapplying the throttle from coasting-----any help or ideas????????

 

Lube up your slip yoke, bet it will fix your problem. This is common with these trucks, I have had to do mine twice now.

 

Did you put Longtubes on it?
