i have a GoDaddy domain address. I want to be able to type in the domain and have it forward me to my website. I placed the web address of my site in the Forwarding area of my GoDaddy domain, but its not working.

anyone have they're own website and know what i'm talking about?

 

Check your options / preferences with godaddy... sometimes you have to pay to have it forward.

wasnt able to find anything in my account settings about paying extra for Forwarding. I've been Forwarding my address, but it doesnt work

i.e. my domain is like w ww.mydomain.com. my main page is on w ww.mydomain.com/main. this is the address i set to Forward to, but it doesnt work. to access the page, i have to go to the page itself. if i go to the root domain, i get a directory page. I called GD, and they sent me an email saying that they tried calling me, but i never got a call.

i'll double check on my account settings to see what i paid for, or if i need to pay extra.
