I got the converter and LT's with ORY on last night. Driving the truck I noticed when you stomp on it, it almost feels like it hits the rev limiter between gears..............but its only shifting at 5600. And when you let it go from a stop it barks, then hesitates for a second(like you let off the gas) Then goes again. What the hell is this?? Are my injectors maxed?? It is a LS1 swap with a small cam.

I'm putting the walbro 255 in today, and new feul filter (original with 68,000 miles) Think that will help??

 

have you tuned for it? also, could be a transmission issue

 

My brothers truck did something similar when we put his LS1 in.. I had to reload a stock tune and go from there.. You need to let someone hook their scanning software up and check it out..

 

I have had the LS1 in for about two months with the stock converter, and besides short shifting...it ran great. Now that the converter is in its like its getting fuel cut. I just put the 255 pump, and new filter in today with the Innovate LM1 wideband, so I'll take a look at the AFR.

 

No tune as of yet. I'm waiting to put the MS3 cam , and Katech 243's on before I do that.

 

His was in for a while also and just one day started doing it.. It may nothing computer related, but I would def check out your AFR.. Did you break the converter in properly?? It needs several heat and cool off cycles before you beat on it..

 

Converter is used, but just refreshened.
