A buddy of mine has a 2002 F150 4.6 and wants to do some bolt on mods to the truck I.E.- cat back, cold air intake, throttle body spacer and pacesetter long tube headers, I think this is all that will be done to the truck. What I was woundering is what is out there for this truck as far as tuning goes for the mods listed. I am a chevy guy and I know they have hptuners efilive ect. but I have no clue as to what there is out there for Fords.
All mods he wants done now except the headers they are planned for the spring. Is there any problem with doing the other mods with out a tune?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Dave

as far as i knowthe fords do not adapt like the gm's do to mods. running lean is a commen factor. an xcalibrater2 or3 is a good choice. there are the edge evelution as well.

Save the money from not buying headers as you can get it with a tuner/reprogammer. He can optimize his new parts to get all he can from them.
