Ok here is the deal. I bought a pewter 2000 RCSB base model truck. It has the 4.3 v6, manual locks and windows. I thought these things wouldnt be too big of a deal to live w/o pl and pw but it is. it lacks power and i can barley reach the pass window let alone do it while im driving. So these things i feel must be replaced. So here is the question should i upgrade these options on this truck or would it be more cost effective to just go out and find another truck w/ these options already on? Im kind of torn on what to do. all imput is appreciated.

 

Go to a junk yard and pull the door panels, motors, and accuators from a wrecked Silverado/Sierra/Tahoe, etc. It would be cheaper than a dealer. You could also swap the V6 out in favor of a V8. You'd have to get a motor, harness, and etc. Do a search for V6 to V8 swap.......DLH2006 has a good write-up. (I believe that's his name)
