There was a post over at ls1tech where Parish commented on how well the msd and megasquirt work together. My questions are:
How does this set up work with HPTuners or EFI Live?
Do you not use the tuning software for fuel and spark, just trans tuning and stuff like that?
For example do you use megasquirt or HPT to tune fueling/injector sizing?
How user friendly is megasquirt? more or less than HPT or EFILive?

I ran an MS and HPT. I removed the MS when EFI began to offer custom multi-bar SD OSs and now run that. I miss the real time tuning, but can always go to a road runner setup to recapture that if needed.
