Not sure if this was the correct section. Sorry if it wasn’t.

Anyway, I was hoping if you can help me with this. A friend of mine changed his steering wheel on his 2007 Silverado 1500 LS-Classic to a MOMO steering wheel. Cus the old steering wheel had an airbag, he’s getting this message “Service Airbag” in his dash board.

We agreed that the best thing to do is just put a resistor and be done with it.

My question is does anyone know the resistance of the airbag?

 

I also would like to clear something-out, I'm in Kuwait. So passing inspection isn't a problem over here (for now that is).

 

Ok, we managed to solve the problem. We just disconnected it from the modeler under the seat, that’s it.
