This new thermostat replaces the factory unit, allowing coolant to circulate at lower engine temperatures, keeping the engine cooler.

I have the HP 160 stat and did a system flush to Dex Cool. Zzebes, he really did all the work... truely appreciated. I was in a bind...

Anyway, getting back to the stat, it was a good mod. I'd say that I have 3k mi on the truck since then and no probs or leaks. This would be a sound investment.
