I've got to buy some new shocks for my reg. cab, and I'm looking at either Belltech or DJM. Which one performs better? Should I try a different brand like KYB? I just don't want to break my wallet on Edelbrock's.

Also, I have a question on shackles. I'd heard that Groundforce makes a taller shackle that would drop the rear more than a Belltech would. Is this true? I'm talking about the 2" shackles of course. Any input?

I know two guys and they tried the edelbrocks and said they were garbage the way they worked.I would buy again a set of KYB monomax,ran then a lot of miles on a 00 sierra 1/2 4x4

 

So I'd be better off with the KYB's compared to the Belltechs?

 

Dont know nothing about belltechs how much $ compared to monomx?

 

The Belltechs are $45 a shock and the Monomaxs are $66.

 

I had seen not long ago monomax $50 each,they were close to the bilstiens in price I thought Bilsitens were to stiff

KYB GR2. Pretty pleased with mine. I tried the Monomax but they were WAY too stiff for my likings.
