Reg. Cab 8" Sub Guys?
#1
Do any of you guys have an 8" sub in your reg cab? If so how does it sound? How big is your box? My main concern is sound quality. I've had a 12" in my truck and I'm sick of having too much bass. Also, my box gets in the way of my new console, so it's gotta go. What should I do?
Would 6x9's sound good behind my seats or would I be wasting my time?

8" subs in a Regular cab sound NICE. Not too much bass but enough to make you smile.
I would imagen they sound just as good in a ecsb.
The good thing about 8"s is you could probably mod them into your doors.

6x9s, waste of time
Get a shallow 10, which would be equivalent in output to a 8" sub, in a wedge style box behind your seat. It won't be in the way of your center console and you'll still be able to keep your seat decently far back.
