HI I HAVE A 2007 NBS EX/CAB 2500HD 6.0 WITH THE 6 SPEED AUTO .WHAT IVE DONE TO IT IS JBA SHORT TUBES(FOR WARRANTY) 3.5 IN MAGNAFLOW EXHAUST ,CUT OUT 9 MM JBA WIRES,AFE CAI & TUBE,EFI LIVE TUNE BY THUNDER RACING,NX 150 SHOT(WET) MY QUESTION IS WHAT WOULD YOU GUESS MY 1/4 MILE TIMES WOULD BE WITH THIS SETUP ALSO WILL A SUPERCHIPS THERM FOR A 2007 CLASSIC WORK IN MY TRUCK I BOUGHT THE WRONG ONE AN CANT RETURN THNX:usa:

You sure about that? I highly doubt those mods are going to knock 4 seconds off his time. Those mods in a 1500 truck would probably net him a high 13.

i dont know what you meen about 4 seconds i allreadt ran a 14.86 with just a tune on the engine and magnaflowe exhaust so i think low 13s ill be easy im lookin for low to mid 12s eventualy

yeah im serious random hero must have had some slow trucks bacause my last ruck was a reg cab 5.3 stepside and with just exhaust cai and a hypetech it ran 14.00

Its has 355 hp and 6speed auto stock tune and muffler its probably close to 375 to 385 there so much left on the table. I raced one with a muffler and beat him by just a truck and I ran 14.9 with my truck.

That is without the the nitrous?

I am not aware of any differences in the thermostats between the any of the LS motors.

No Problem hehehe. I looked up the track, in Belle Rose, LA. The track elevation there is 15 feet, which would certainly help out your times. And...if you run in the winter, the air density is about as good as your going to get anywhere on this planet. This means if you take your actual time and apply a correction factor to it for weather, your corrected times would be slower.

So, maybe you really did run those times. I still find it incredible...those times are both very quick, even for the conditions.

Will you pick out the next truck I buy? You seem to have a knack for picking the freakishly fast ones. :)

I test drove a new 2500HD ECSB 4wd and they are quick guys. The new 6.0L and 6spd auto really move out. :eek2:

Yep. With my cam now, it feels every bit as quick as the '02 1500HD with the sidemount magnacharger. that one was runing 14.5 or so.
I'll get it down to the san antonio raceway one of these days....
