Can anyone tell me if there is a particular 2" drop shackle needed for the 07+ or can you use 99-07 classic shackles to drop the rear?

BlueSS

99-07 works

trey, when u dropped your truck, did u have to cut off the bumpstop perches from the frame? I'm just wondering because i was reading a magazine showing the DJM flip kit install and they had to cut the perch off and drill and tap a hole to screw in the new bumpstop. I dont want to have to do anything to my frame when I get my kit....

Damn thats sexy. I can't wait to drop mines. 3/6 yet the rear seems to almost sit a little higher still, or maybe its just the angle. Did you keep the lift block in the rear?

Would first like to say you guys have some nice trucks, Sierra323 just to give you a heads up your tires on those factory 20's will probably rub with a 4-7 my tires are like 30.6 outside diameter and they are very close when turning. I think the factory tires on the 20's are like 32 inches. Anyway can't wait to see it dropped.

thanks for the heads up trey.... I guess that will be my excuse to get new tires, LOL. I hate how skinny the 275s are. I hope 285/50s don't rub anything...
