Hey guys I've been doing a lot of research lately about which engine I want to put into my late grandpas 76 silverado.

I am def. leaning towards the LQ4 on heavy boost (I would love to be making about 650-750HP)

My question is ....
What where the years and which application was paired with the big boy gm tranny?

I would like to find the vehicle to drive around until December. I then leave for the military and will then be using the motor and tranny.

look for a 2002-present 2500HD, that will get you the combo you want...
