Question Now I got something that will really stump you!!!!Innner Tie Rods????

Ok my Inner Tie rods are both done for already....don't ask why???

Instead of replacing them with stockers, is there any performance/heavy duty aftermarket Tie Rods that are better?

Default Need some answers pleaseeee!!!

Ok. My inner tie rods went out at 15K. Just got around to replacing them yesterday. When they were bad, before I replaced them, everytime I turned I would get like a popping sound.

Well since I put the new ones on it stopped.....until tonight @ 6pm about a hour ago. The guy that put them on knows his stuff and they were put on right for sure.

I got the new replacement Inner Tie Rods @ Auto Zone....both side for about $90

So they held out for all of 24hrs.....about 60miles of driving????

It just started popping again just like it was before and you can tell they are already screwed.....what the heck??? Is this normal??

Why is this happening to me? How can they go out so fast??

I don't quite understand the popping sound, almost sounds like a steering shaft but if it was that it would not get any better with new inner tie rod ends. I've had my stockers on my truck for just over 20K, and I have not sold any that I can remember at the dealership. Maybe the big wheels are just killing them?? I would do as suggested before, ask the 3/4 guys what they use.
