friend has a 06 1500 5 speed 4.8 with 373 gears,he runs 20inch gm wheels will switching to 410s help out,im was wondering if the 410 gear would be to much for the 5 speed first gear.

no such thing as too much gear for a manual transmission. i have 4.10s with a T56 and 20s. honestly if i never drove on the freeway, id probably go with 4.56s. but i love cruising at 1700 rpm on the freeway.
