Well, I got my AFE intake installed today. Im pretty pleased with it overall.

1st impressions are, its louder than stock. Once you gun it, you know its there. It has a great kinda growl to it though, which I enjoy. Still waiting for my computer to adjust to it, and for me to adjust to the new sounds, but I didnt lose any low end it doesnt seem, top end is a tad stronger, nothing overwhelming. I think it and my Flowmaster really compliment each other well and the setup is one Id recommend.

As for the AFE kit itself, id give it an 8/10 overall. Really, theres no excuse for such poor directions. The fit and finish is quite good, even better than past KN FIPKs Ive had. I did have to trim a tad off the engine cover to get it to sit flush w/ 0 rubbing, as a couple Volant people have had to do too I believe. Here is the finished product. Let me know any thoughts and opinions on it.

Nah, its just a classic CAI setup, it draws air from the fender opening mainly.
