Default New Corvette???

A guy I work with just came in and told me that he just bought a C6.5???

Not quite a C6, not yet a C7, are they calling the 2008 vette a C6.5 because its got a new motor, or did a salesman blow smoke up his ***?

Ok, he SWEARS its a C6.5. Now there is $100 riding on it. Can someone show me where some document SAYS, in print, C6.5 so I can pay the man, or C6.2, so I can get paid!!! I did some searching, and I can't find anything that says C6.5 on it.

Dealship guys, if you have some paperwork that you can show, or email to me, that'd be great.

It's just a nickname. Vette guys are so ******* excited about the new engine that they coined it a 6.5. I don't think there's anything official about it. The only thing I know that's official is all the guys that bought 2006 and 2007 vettes got screwed. I'm still waiting for the Blue Devil/Supervette/Stingray monster to come out. That's more ground breaking IMO.

Its Still A C6. By Gm Standards It Is Still A Regular 6th Gen Vette. Just With A Different Engine... There Is No Such Thing As A C6.5

Time to collect your money. It's still a C6. Only thing that has changed is more horses under the hood fromt the LS3, different wheels and a few small things. Please send me $50.00 <j/k>
