You need a scan tool or the proper software to check the waveform...you recently swapped engines correct? There's a couple things I'd consider:

Wiring/Connector to the crank sensor
Crank Sensor
Reluctor wheel on the crankshaft

...possibly a crank variation relearn??? I'd think it would throw a different code for that though...

i got a buddy coming over with a tech 2 today. but i got some problems when i pulled the starter the other day it pulled the ends out of crank position sensor. the only wire that was still in was the gren wire because it broke hte wire. i put the blue wire in the middle and truck didn't start. then i tried it on the end and still got nothing. does anyone have a diagram showing exactly which port each wire goes in? there is a green, blue and yellow wire. thanks.

PS i hate this truck!!!!!

So, when you removed the starter, it fell and knocked out the crank position wires from the plug? Whoops! The only thing I would say to do it call the parts dept at the dealer and ask a service manager. They can tell you---or go to a junk yard...

the flow chart i sent you will tell you the pin locations, but i would go get a pigtail connector for it with the terminals already crimped inside it.
