I have a 07 new body 5.3 truck with active fuel mang system and 373 gear. i was wondering what i could do to this thing to get some power and tq out of her. any help would be great full. thank you for your time. oh and i want to try to get into the 12's

Congrats on the new truck. Your pretty close to me in location. 12's is doable-but will take some $$$$ and some planning. You didn't say, but what cab configuration is the truck?

I have a single cab truck. and it came with the 373 from the the factory with. but the truck is still slow even with a cold air kit and exhaust lol.

First thing first I'd start with a tune. Wheatley does mine and he is local. Hell, I'd run up there with ya, want to update mine a bit. It'll really helps out the new trucks, my 4.8 runs completely different even with still using 87 octane.

this new trucks work almost like the old trucks to get into the 12 do fullbolts ons and a cam that should help ...what casing heads did ur truck came with?

when you get it tuned, do the 91 octane tune not the 87.
remove 100% of the TM.
