Default Do all fbody trans shift hard/firm?

Guys that have had auto fbodies or been in a stock one, got a question for ya. My trans shifts hard as hell. Yanks the hell out of second just about every time at wot. I was just wondering if you guys think that something could be done to the trans, or if they all do that. I just can't believe they would set up a trans to hit this hard on a stock car. I bought with 38,000 miles on it, so something could have been done previous, but they may all do that. It sure makes me feel better about spraying it with it shifting like this.
