So here's the deal I had a 2004 Cheverolet Silverado 1500 4x4 and pulling a 24 ft trailer with on average was geting me about 8 miles to the gallon(ouch).
So I told my wife about the poll and she got to the point were she would watch and read, and one day she emails me pics of trucks and I was like WOW, she wants me to get a new truck, nope turns out that she wanted my 4x4 and already had a bumper sticker that says not my husbands truck. LOL.
So here's what I bought, a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with 33,000 miles for $26,988 is what I could get them down to from $31,988.
Here's some pics.

Well at first it was just for fun, but now it's for public service. Oh and wife called me today at lunch, you guys will never guess where she went.
Four Wheel Parts Dallas, and she was pricing wheels and tires with body lift, I said no on the lift because if we are going to jack it up it needs to be suspension first.
Thanks for the comments guys.

That Ram will do very nicel y pulling an enclosed. We have a stock 06 Megacab Diesel and get about 11-13 mpg pulling our 28 ft enclosed. You dont even know your pulling anything. Very nice truck btw, ours is silver too.

11-13mpg:eyes: our 03 duramax ccsb 4x4 gets 13-15 mpg pulling a 26 ft enclosed with about 8-9000lbs of equipment in it.
