In yall opinon, how does the 5.9 cummins do. Do I even stand a chance. If so, any suggestions what i can do to pepper it up to walk his titan lol.

cummins is a good motor and can make alot of power. intake, exhaust, and a box would make a world of difference. but i dont know if you could beat a titan, they run pertty good!

A programmer alone would destroy that Titan.. Any mods after that, and you'll only embarass your friend

Take out the silencer ring and make it whine like crazy. No real HP gains though

And worth every penny..
Plus if you can afford to race a $50k truck, you should have no problem with this spenditure

Trust me, you wont be dissapointed. All the big HP Cummins are using a Smarty stacked with something else.
As for exhaust, I would go MBRP. They have 3 different options in each of their systems- Aluminized, 409 and 304 stainless. I have never had a problem with them, and they fit flawlessly..

any recommendations out the three

Price vs longevity.
Each system will perform the same, the alumized is the same material as your stocker, and comes with a 1 year warranty, the 409 is polished and comes with a 5 year warranty and a tip, and the 304 stainless is mirror polished, comes with a tip and a lifetime warranty. Usually a $250 difference between all of them, starting at $450

what do stock Titans turn in the 1/4??

QShip

They don't run very well in the 1/4. Not until the WOT restriction crap is removed via Uprev or Technosquare software.

Smarty or diblo seem to run good on the cummins. my dads 07 4.8 gasser murdered a titan last night the titan had exhaust and intake. Dads truck only has intake and a baby tune

To be able to run the Smarty on the higher settings, you need quite few other mods. Better lift pump, tranny/clutch. That thing fuels so hard that it will kill a stock tranny pretty fast. If your going to stack it with something else a turbo is definetly needed.

x2 on the smarty. the silverline brand has quite a few good options for exhaust if your into stacks or mbrp is good for duals. in my opinoin

The Edge Products unit is pretty impressive on the Cummins as well as for exhaust I'd have a strait pipe put in place of the muffler and call it a day. You shouldn't have any problems blowing away a Titan like that.

banks doesnt do too much for a cummins and doesn't put the power out in general other tuners do. You just pay for that banks name.

Get a Smarty.
